Acwell Licorice Toner caused me to breakout

Anyone have an idea of what ingredients contribute to this? I am sensitive to niacinamide (I've tried a few products with niacinamide, but they caused me to breakout). But there's no niacinamide in this toner. Are there any other ingredients I should be aware of that break me out, like niacinamide?

I had a breakout from this toner, too. I'm pretty sure it was due to citrus bergamot oil, my skin can't stand it

Essential oils can cause breakouts. I'm surprised they include citrus bergamot oil.

I experienced the same the first time I used it. And I just saw this description in olive young: https://global.oliveyoung.com/product/detail?prdtNo=GA221016522&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwxqayBhDFARIsAANWRnRTFms27T0yadq889WX3PPzRGeaxsjQjjQmneB7wO-6xA7RuCLSKVwaAncTEALw_wcB How to use 1. After soaking an appropriate amount on a cotton pad, gently wipe from the inside of the face to the outside along the skin texture. 2. If necessary, rinse lightly with secondary cleansing or warm water. #2 says you can rinse it with second cleanse or warm water. I used warm water and it didn't caused me closed comedones anymore. I think this is same application with a micellar water. ☺️
