I actually don't mind fragrance in skincare as I usually don't have any sensitivity to them, but I completely understand that some people cannot tolerate fragrance in products. Fragrance adds a lot to the sensorial experience of skincare and many people use skincare as a form of self-care, so the fragrances can be calming and relaxing for many. Fragrance also masks the natural chemially scents of various compounds in skincare products. If a product has an unpleasant chemical scent, this might negatively impact the user experience so companies usually opt to mask this with more pleasant scents.
I personally prefer very light and pleasant scents or fragrance free over heavily fragranced perfumey scents.

Personally, if it’s citrusy (orange, lemon, etc.) then it dries my skin out pretty bad. So I found that out with one of my cleanser and I stopped using it. They add it to make it feel more fancy when really it’s giving me acne all over my face. 😔 if it’s like at the bottom of the list then yes, but honestly I just might as well stay away there is a product out there that might be the same without it and it just takes time to actually look for it but it’s worth it in the end.

I agree with you. I really don’t see the point and it can be irratating to some people. I personally like to avoid fragrance in all my skincare products. For people who do like the fragrance they should just make sure it’s not in the middle of the list. Overall yes I do mind and I try to stay away from fragrance.

I don't mind fragrance in skincare as long as it's not too overbearing. Most of the skincare I use have minimal to no fragrance in them which works out for me since I don't think it's necessary. Too much fragrance can give a me a headache 😅

I understand why some skincare brands add fragrance into their products is because they want to stand out from other competitors and give consumers a unique experience when using these products. But, yes, like you I don't prefer having fragrance in any of products because of the potential long-term damage that can be done to your skin, i.e. irritation and allergic reactions.
