Anua oil cleanser

Heyy So last time before I buy anything - I was told that the anua oil cleansers extremely breaks out many people. Is this true? What kind of skin can use it?? Is dryad slightly sensitive okay? I really don't want to end up with severe acne (from what I was told) but I really want to finally lose the sebaceous filaments (black n white) especially from nose/chin/forehead. And deeply cleanse my pores out since they're really visible and big. Would Skin1004 centella oil cleanser be a better option for me? I also heard great things about the dokdo oil cleanser. Thanks in advance <33

I have the Anua Cleansing Oil and I like it. It’s working great for cleaning my pores, getting my makeup and sunscreen off. You put it on dry skin, rub in, add water to get a milky texture, rub in and then rinse off. Then use a water based cleanser to get the oils and residue off. I have gotten whiteheads near my nose if I don’t clean it good enough. I actually think it’s made for more dry/combo skin. Oily skin has a harder time with oil cleansers since it leaves more oils on skin that can break us out.

Thank you so much! This was the kinda reply I was looking for. But the anua foam cleanser exfoliates, right? Can I still use it every day and just skip other exfoliants?

I believe that the anua oil cleanser can cause acne to those who are acne prone. It also includes fragrance so there’s a slight chance that it might be irritating. This was the first oil cleanser I’ve ever used. It works well to get rid of sebaceous filaments. It also left my skin incredibly smooth. I eventually had to replace it because I had suspicions that it was breaking me out. I would say that if you’re not prone to getting acne then you should give it a try. Buy the mini before you commit to this product. Just in case. I’m not too sure about the other cleansers since I haven’t tried them yet but I’ve been using the haruharu wonder one and it’s really good. It’s non comedogenic so it doesn’t have any clogging ingredients and won’t feed any acne. You should definitely look into it. Remember that products work differently for everyone since no one’s skin type is the same. Be cautious of the products you use and make sure to do some research on ingredient lists to ensure it won’t do any further damage. I hope this was helpful.

If you're sensitive to fragrance, skip the Anua. The fragrance is pretty high up in that one. But if you're sensitive to certain essential oils, then check the ingredients list of the Skin1004 and RoundLab ones first as they do contain some essential oils. I would also recommend checking out the 1 star reviews (you can change the filter to show only 1 star reviews) for each of the cleansing oils, just to see why other people dislike it so much and hopefully help you in making a decision.
