I really hope I'm wrong 😭 But beating the brand's websites and Stylevana while not being able to describe the product and not having a picture or video of it...hmm
And I've noticed other people doing this on other newly released products as well.

Oh they're definitely fake reviews alright. I can bet all my points that the reviews on the newly added products are fake 🤣
I've noticed this little trend of creating fake reviews been going on for awhile already. Super short, generic reviews with no picture proof of them owning or having used the product before. Well how could they when the product is not launched yet, right? 😏
Some of them even say that they haven't tried it yet or that they hope to win it in their 'review' 🙄😮💨

Yes it has increased lately, I've noticed this too and I just decided I should say something, it's getting out of hand. As well as people reviewing products on the wrong posting when the names are entirely dissimilar. I don't want the Picky Community to be full of low quality nonsense.

I have been seeing quite a lot of new users posted some short reviews which is obviously done unwillingly. I know they aim to get picky's giveaway. I also have seen several people who have won the GA, posted a super short review with no good quality and poor description such as "oh this product is good for my skin(dot)"
So sad :(( You have won a GA with good products, why not try to be more genuine

Yes, some are even copying and pasting their previous reviews for completely different products. 😮💨 I want them to stop so Picky reviews remain useful and retain credibility.

Good point; thank you for posting this. How about we start reporting reviews like this?

Yes, I'm reporting them, it's dishonest to mislead others with fake reviews.

Sometimes testers are presented with the opportunity to test a product before the official product launch, but they usually also receive a disclosure not to share it anywhere yet before the launch date. I'm not sure if that's the case with this product though, but I have seen it before, mainly on other apps like Influenster.

That's true, but my doubts particularly apply to those whose reviews have no sign of actually having the product, who are not able to describe it or take pictures or videos of it, and who have not tagged their reviews as "Gifted."
