βοΈI have sensitive skin and the main appeal of skin care products is: mild, clean, refreshing, non-irritating, and fragrance-free. The first step in skin care is a facial cleanser. The choice of facial cleanser is very important. If the cleanser is too gentle, it does not wash away the dirt. Too much cleansing power can irritate the skin's water-oil imbalance. You have to find the cleanser that is just right for your skin. It must leaves the skin clean and non-irritated.
πI have been using [papa recipe Eggplant Clearing Mild Cleansing Foam] for two weeks recently and I am very satisfied! It fulfills all my requirements for a cleanser: non-irritating after cleanse while also refreshing and not tight after each wash. You can feel it after applying the mask, because the skin is not clogged with dirt and absorbs very quickly.
πIt is also very simple to use. It only takes a little bit of water. After adding water, you can knead thick bubbles. It has no smell, and it is very clean and nonirritating. I like it very much and is very satisfied!

I received this product for free from Papa Recipe and Picky in exchange for my honest review. Papa Recipe Eggplant π Clearing Mild Cleansing Foam is an excellent cleanser. First off, can we talk about the foam action!!! This stuff will last awhile. A LITTLE bit goes a LONG way and it foams amazingly. It is not bubbly foam but rather thick in consistency and refreshing. With Eggplant Extract: Abundant Lupeol treats sensitive skin.
Calendula Flower Extract: relaxes sensitive and damaged skin.
Birch Sap: Helps to have lively and moisturized skin this cleanser gets the face fresh & clean while not stripping it too harsh. It has 36% of Eggplant π . It is a mild acidic cleanser safe for dry/sensitive skin. I love how the brand really breaks down all the info for you on websites. They really seem to care about helping you understand the product. HUGE PLUS!!! I would still patch test just to make sure and I would be a little cautious on any broken/wounded skin. The smell is very mild to me but ya never know how others may feel. Its like a very light π§Ό. I havent used this on makeup. I used this more as a second cleanser and would recommend others to do the same. This just seems like a second cleanser & oil cleansers for makeup are more effective and easier in my opinion. But do you boos! π Other than that I love this stuff and at around $20 bucks for a 4.05 fl oz you got yourself a great cleanser that will definitely last awhile! It's COOL π for me! Check it out! π

FIRSTLY! WHO ISN'T IN LOVE WITH THE PURPLE PACKAGING! This is one of the softest foam cleanser I've ever tried! I can literally feel the father's love on this cleansing foam! The cleanser is kind of creamy but once in contact with water, it FOAMS up so WELL!! As the foam touches my face, I instantly melt towards it. It gently touches my skin and cleanses well. It is great at removing oils and sunscreen. It smells like mild coconut and I really LOVE the scent! It is so calming and I always look forward to its scent after a tiring day. Tho it contains citric acid, it did not cause any irritation nor purging. After 7 days of continuous usage, I managed to see that it really helps to balance my skin and less acne pops out!
On the downside, I can feel there was a lil tightness near my cheeks but went away when I dabbed with toner.

Eggplant Clearing improves the overall appearance, giving a youthful glow without heavy creams or oils. The dense foam clears away skin waste and hydrates the skin.
The main ingredients listed are Eggplant extract, Calendula flower extract and Birch sap. Combined together help acne-prone skin calm down and remain moisturized. Being pH balanced--this face wash is ideal for dry/sensitive skintypes above them all.
No noticeable scent or fragrance other than a "clean" smell that can only be traced to the wash. It's gentle and lovely, especially as a daily cleanser. The lather up is absolutely amazing, foamy and bubbly to create such a nice experience.
When you rinse it off, your skin definitely feels cleaner to the touch. Upon dry down, there is a noticeable sheen to the skin that can be left alone to enhance your natural glow or helpful under foundation/makeup as a great clean slate.
All in all, I'm actually almost done with my first bottle since this has been my recent go-to before and after work. Lol Luckily for me, they sent me two bottles to play with. 5/5 I highly recommend as your everyday face wash due to the gentle nature of the product. If you want something effective without harsh exfoliants or acids, this is the one most definitely!

like using this in the day and at night. It cleans the face well without leaving it feel dry or tight.

I like that this cleanser is so gentle to the skin but at the same time it really cleans it. It removes oil and dirt from the skin without over drying it. It makes a great foam with just a little amount. It rinse easily and leaves the skin clean and fresh. It doesnβt have any scent and the texture is thick and kind of creamy. After using this cleanser my skin felt balanced and hydrated. I really like this Paparecipe Eggplant cleanser.
There is nothing bad about this prodcut.

This is my 1st skincare product with eggplant and so far I'm loving this! It's a mild acidic pH cleanser that's perfect for those with sensitive skin as it helps to maintain skin's natural pH level and strengthen the skin barrier. It also contains AHA, BHA and PHA, which gently helps to exfoliate dead skin cells for smoother, looking skin.
The creamy texture easily lathers to a creamy foam and works gently to remove dirt, grimes and impurities. Double cleansing is perfect with this as it's great for removing sunscreen and light makeup as well. It's super mild in terms of exfoliation and doesn't seem to cause any skin irritation. My skin feels refreshingly clean after each wash without feeling dry and tight. Overall this is a great hypoallergenic, daily cleanser that easily suits all skin types β¨

π This is a cleansing foam with excellent ingredients: eggplant extract, calendula flower extract, birch sap, citric acid and vitamin e.
The cleanser has a thick texture, like a paste, but with water it easily turns into a gentle foam. It cleans perfectly without leaving a feeling of skin tightness. As usual, citric acid irritates my skin and causes redness. So, I was afraid that the citric acid in this cleanser would give me a bad reaction, but the cleanser turned out very gently. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin.
π The cleanser is unscented. I love products without fragrance.

A pH balancing cleansing foam that gently cleanses the face without stripping your skin of moisture. This rich, soft foam contains 30% eggplant extract to retain moisture into the skin while effectively cleansing impurities and makeup.
This product is mostly recommended for the people who have breakouts or has an acne prone skin type.
For me the texture little bit felt like a wash off clay mask.

πtexture: this is a creamy foaming cleanser with very small exfoliating particles in it, and it foams up just slightly when water is added
πno artificial fragrance and no scent! it doesnβt smell like eggplant so donβt worry lol
my skin absolutely hates physical exfoliation. even the gentlest of scrubs makes my skin feel like its being ripped up and aggravates my acne. so unfortunately, this was a no for me. however, my mom and sister both tried this as well (neither of them have any issue with physical exfoliation) and they both loved it. it definitely feels way gentler than some of the other physical scrubs iβve tried, so if you are someone who likes physical exfoliation, then iβd recommend giving this a try! but iβd avoid it if you donβt like physical exfoliation or if you have very sensitive skin.
