Whenever my skin is freaking out, I turn to this serum. It contains 85% wormwood extract (a type of artemisia or mugwort) alongside kava root, leaf, and stem extracts. Other skin-soothing ingredients include marigold extract, panthenol, beta-glucan, betaine, allantoin, and dipotassium glycyrrhizate (one of the main anti-inflammatory ingredients in the licorice plant). It also has ceramide NP and glycerin, two beneficial skin-identical ingredients.
This costs about $24 on Yesstyle. Something interesting to note is that this ampoule is created using Isntree’s Time-Drop Method in order to ensure that only the effective ingredients of mugwort are extracted.
This is great for soothing damaged skin. When I was dealing with some self-inflicted irritation (overdid it with the active ingredients, whoops!), this serum was one of my go-to products. It’s free of fragrance, essential oils, and alcohol so I can use this whenever my skin is sensitive with no worries. I only need to use a few drops and it absorbs quickly into my skin.
