Shining Face Peeling Pads

product review positives
So'Natural Shining Face Peeling Pads Claim to Fame: "All Care Product for Exfoliation + Pore + Smooth Texture + Moisturization" - from the brand's official website Key Ingredients: ◾️Lemon Fruit Extract - contains citric acid and is commonly used as a natural, mild exfoliating agent ◾️Betaine Salicylate - fights bacteria and decongests clogged pores ◾️Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate - is a promising Vitamin C derivative that has great stability up to pH 7 ◾️Tocopheryl Acetate - the most commonly used version of pure vitamin E in cosmetics Packaging: ◾️It comes in an 85mL tub, which holds 80 peeling pads. Texture & Scent: ◾️The pads have one side embossed and the other side smoothened. ◾️I has a citrusy fragrance, which smells very artificial. Experience/Review: ◾️I received this as a giveaway reward but I really haven't thought much of toning pads until I got this tub. ◾️As per its packaging, you're supposed to wipe your face with the textured side then to smoothen your skin out with the back side of the microfiber pad and this is exactly how I use the product. ◾️I use it right after I wash my face and before applying another toner from COSRX. ◾️I typically use 3 pads per instance - 2 for my face and 1 for my neck. ◾️I didn't experience any tingling sensation nor peeling when I started using these pads. ◾️I'm also not seeing any significant improvements on the texture and tone of my skin, but then again I'm only using the pads a maximum of 3 times per week since it's being advertized as an exfoliant. Verdict: ◾️I feel like these peeling pads are just a nice-to-have part of a routine and one can still just settle for the more commonly practiced toner plus cotton pad combo. The citrusy smell also didn't warm up to me. I'm only using this since it'll be a waste to just get rid of them. So yeah, not planning on spending to get another tub once these freebies run out.
product review negatives
The scent's not appealing and the product itself is just so-so.
