I tend to reach for this any time I have stubborn dry patch, or acne, and want to help my skin feel smooth again. I leave it on/rub in for a full sixty seconds, and it works amazing every single time. I love that this is a finely milled physical scrub, so it didn’t feel like it was tugging or tearing at my sensitive skin like I’ve dealt with in other formulas on the market. It is a 100% plant based scrub that is biodegradable, no micro plastics. Plus it features sunflower seed, jojoba seed oils, and glycerin to help hydrate your skin while getting rid of dead skin build up. Suggested use is twice per week, especially if you aren’t using any exfoliating toners or creams in your routine. Plus it is only $20 and can be found in Target or Walmart in the US.
DO NOT GET IN YOUR EYE. I simply avoid applying past the orbital bone and I’m usually safe. But because this is a physical scrub it is advised not to apply to the eye area as that can be a bad thing. Also because it is a chemical exfoliant, do not use it at the same time as a retinol or vitamin C as these ingredients can interact and cause a reaction. As long as you rotate and use this on a different day or different time as the retinol, you should be good. And as always, use an SPF when using a chemical exfoliant such as this one.
