The VT Cosmetics Reedle Shot 100 is made from Silica, a natural mineral that enhances the absorption of active ingredients in the skin. Silica also plays a key part in the collagen production process and has mattifying and oil absorption properties. This product claims to be beneficial for the absorption of nutrients and other products, to improve and refine skin texture, to support the skin's natural renewing process and the gentle release of impurities over time, for soft, nourished, and healthy skin and a vibrant complexion. This product contains lots of highly loved ingredients, including Centella Extract and Centella 4X Complex, Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide and Green Propolis, good for soothing, brightening, revitalizing, firming and hydrating the skin. They also have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. These ingredients are penetrating the skin in micro needle form, resulting in a deeper and more effective skin treatment, since they also reach the deeper layers of the skin. The Reedle Shot is best to use in your nightime skincare routine and is suitable for all skintypes, even sensitive skin, but like all skincare, a patch test before using this is recommended. This product is especially recommended for those who wants proper absorption of their skincare products or those that are looking for extra exfoliation and refinement of the skin. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭: I didn't really noticed any scent when using this. 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥: It's a lightweight, white gel based cream that melts into the skin quite easily. It doesn't feel greasy or oily after applying and it doesn't make my skin feel itchy or tight. It does irritate the skin while and after applying though, it stings while applying and my skin was looking a bit reddish and felt quite sensitive after applying. The stinging, the redness and that sensitive feeling keeps lingering quite some time too. I did noticed that after the first use, the stinging and the redness became less noticeable though. According to VT Cosmetics, the stinging is a natural phenomenon that occurs as the product absorbs into the skin and supplies nutrients. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠: The bottle has a pumping system on top of it and comes with a tiny little cap over the nossle, which is so convenient. The shiny silver colour makes it look really luxurious. It contains all information about the product in both English and Korean. The carton box the bottle comes in also has that shiny silver colour and looks equally luxurious. The box also contains all information, including an ingredient list, in both English and Korean. The neon green accents in the text on both the bottle as the carton box are highly visible and specify the sort of Reedle Shot. Neon green stands for Cica. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭: The VT Cosmetics Reedle Shot 100 makes my face feel soft, smooth, firm, hydrated and moisturized. It also feels and looks matte. I have sensitive combo skin so my face normally feels and looks part oily and part matte. But like I mentioned before, it also makes my face feel sensitive and look quite reddish. I'm hoping these effects will get less when using the product more often, when my skin is used to the product more. But treating your skin with a moisturizing and soothing cream or mask after application (like the VT Cosmetics PDRN Hydrogel Mask, for example) does help and is highly recommended. It should be suitable for daily use, but personally, I don't use it daily because I feel like it will be a bit too strong and heavy for my sensitive skin. 𝐌𝐲 𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧: I like how lightweight it is, the moisturizing and hydrating effect and how soft, smooth and plump it makes my skin feel, but I'm not a fan of how my skin reacts to it so far. I'm gonna give it some more time to see if my skin will get used to it, and will update my review later on if necessary. For now, I'm rating it with 4 stars because I do like the softness, smoothness and plumpness (is that even a word? 😁) it provides, I also like the ingredients it contains and I think the stinging and redness will be better over time.
