ngl i don’t think your skin is the issue, it’s just that the products you’ve been using are too gentle for what you’re dealing with. your marks are dark (not red) and that type usually needs something stronger than niacinamide or alpha arbutin, and if your skin is dry that alone can make everything look worse and slow down healing. first fix the dryness with a proper thick moisturizer like CeraVe Moisturizing Cream or La Roche-Posay Lipikar Baume AP+M, your skin shouldn’t feel tight after. then add one real treatment (this is what you’re missing) like Differin Gel (Adapalene 0.1%), use it a few nights a week first, it’ll help with dark marks, texture and prevent breakouts. for the bumps/pores you can use Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant 2–3 times a week on nights you’re not using differin. pls don’t skip sunscreen because that’s literally why dark spots don’t fade, something like Black Girl Sunscreen SPF 30 is good. and for picking, use COSRX Acne Pimple Master Patch so you’re not tempted to touch your skin. simple routine: morning cleanser + moisturizer + sunscreen, night cleanser + differin + moisturizer. also just being honest, if you keep picking your skin won’t improve no matter what you use, but if you stay consistent for like 8–12 weeks you should actually start seeing a difference.

I think you should go for a facial or some treatments...if its too expensive, try any microneedling products or numbuzin nad toner...try use repairing products that help build back your skin barrier or try out the numbuzin no 2 2× plumping serum...it helps with dark spots...if its not good enough, try vit c in the morning and then retinal at night...but dont use it too often if you are new to these

Adult acne is notoriously difficult to get rid of. I found that a combination of Fation cleanser (gentle, but powerful), combines with Iunik Centella Calming AC Spot Cream acne cream are a dream team. This combo works so darn good that I used it on a rash that I've had for 16 YEARS. Dr's couldn't figure it out, but I eventually did. Also, drink water, lots of it. Much of adult acne, even when you get your period will clear up with continued water. It's also about diet - fried foods, sugary items, candy, etc. Try carrot sticks when you get the munchies. Being told "you'll grow out of it" is a flat out lie. I'm 55 and still get breakouts.
