Are sun sticks unhygienic?

I’ve recently been interested in sunscreen sticks because of how convenient they are especially to bring along outdoors. But i’m worried about hygiene because i can’t clean the stick before each use. What do you guys think? and what sun sticks do you guys recommend? 🌞

Wipe off with tissue before and after use. If you have time or alcohol/sanitizer available on hand, spray first then wipe with tissue before use

Well, if you use it after you spray it with alchohol, the part with alchohol (if there is any after you wipe it using tissue) should've been on your face, not stays on the product (is this make sense?). There is not much difference actually if I can compare with dipping your finger on creams in jar and using spatula vs using sunstick that never been cleaned and clean the sunstick surface before and after using, imo. The product touch your skin🤷‍♀️

I stop using sunstick because of that issue, hygiene. There was one time that I'm a bit out of it and i re applied my sunscreen at the office, i have no mirror that time. I had a bb cream, cream blush and liquid highlighter. My sunstick ( it's white ) ended up in a glittery pinkish skin tone color, it looks quite offensive that time.i never used it again since. And my moisturizer feels like it's transferring to the sunstick since i do use quite the greasy moisturizer.

but the mists i’ve come across can’t be sprayed directly onto the face /-: which unfortunately kinda defeats the convenience aspect for me.
