Clay masks

One thing that I learnt and love about clay masks is that there’s one for everyone! Calamine can be soothing and hydrating for the more sensitive and dehydrated skin, and you can make it more moisturising by the medium you mix it with! These are mixed bespoke during a facial but there are loads of commercial ones available off a shelf. What’s your favourite?

Alternating between kaolin and fullers earth I guess, I like how clean my skin feels after using those kind of clay masks.

Yes! I’m sure I’ve seen some new ‘hydrating’ ones that must be calamine 😊

I like clay masks but If I leave them on for too long then I feel my skin is dehydrated

Yes, I’d recommend max 10 mins and concentrate it on the oily areas. You could multi mask with a nourishing mask on the dry areas

I hadn’t thought about mixing masks together! I’m currently using Liz Earle green clay mask but it leave my skin with a weird cast until I cleanse again.
