Hyperpigmentation and hypertrophic acne scars

Hi everyone! This is the routine I’ve been following for a while now and my skin is still breaking out. Even when the active hormonal acnes go away, the scars stay red and bumpy and can get inflamed again. What can I do or change to get rid of these suckers? 😭 note: I don’t use the products in this order, I switch cleansers depending on how my skin feels and I only use the peeling solution 1-2x a week.

how about adding retinol ingredients for night routine? I use this retinol toner 3x a week, really help my acne and PIH. I love this toner but it's smell lil weird ☺

Hi! I started The Ordinary 0,2% retinol serum this week and will try using it once per week to build tolerance. Your toner looks interesting! What’s the percentage of retinol in it?

I only have like Shiner level black bags under my eyes but I do sell things on Mercari. although Kiehl's clearly corrective dark spot solution was the second most expensive thing I've ever sold, it got the most attention the quickest. that leads me to believe it most likely actually works.

You think so? I use the centella serum and snail mucin (sometimes a HA serum) for hydration but if I don’t exfoliate, my pores get super clogged 😭

sometimes external barriers might not be sufficient to control, perhaps u might want to also add on physician pills such as doxycycline (if no drug allergies) for few months to control it. it helps to settle somehow. or if its too extensive, u may try oral skin supplements to regulate internally. really hope this helps.. 🤍

thats great! avoid oil base products, use water based with ceramide, avoid the use of acidic exfoliators, use gentle ones. hydrate with gel moisturizers, and avoid anything with alcohol ;)
