use natural mucin, people say yam root is natural mucin, I'm also the same as you, allergic to snail mucin, I use natural mucin from yam root, and I agree they have almost the same function for moisturizing, healing acne scars is also good, especially for pie.

Yes i think I am allergic to snail mucin as well :( I tried a patch test on my hand and it became soo red and itchy and had NO idea what happened. But I also have a pretty bad dust mite allergy so that explains it. And i am soo sad about it because everyone has such positive things to say about it :(
