I personally love the Dr. althea 345 relief moisturizer as it has skin soothing ingredients as well as barrier repair ingredients. I like to use the sandwich method with retinol: soothing serum, retinol, relief moisturizer. Hope this helps!

Preferably you want to use a cream without actives that may interact with the retinol (so without vitamin C or acids like AHAs, BHAs, or PHAs).
If your skin is flaky from retinols (mine can be sometimes) I need a thicker cream. So the Barrier+ Triple Lipid Cream from Skinfix is an amazing thicker formula. The Soon Jung moisturizer is a gel. They do offer a version that is thicker though if the gel isnβt enough, and a balm moisturizer. The Wellage cream has citric acid (which can be an exfoliating ingredient), but it is the second from last ingredient, meaning the amount is minimal and it is likely in the formula as a ph stabilizer. Both of the Purito ones are gel based and lightweight.
