good review
Personal Experience Review: PR package from @yesstyle & @isntree It's a good product that might be helpful to those who have dry skin because of it's moisturising ingredients. It appears to be a white creamy liquid type of a cleanser but then it became almost watery once applied on face. This cleanser can not remove heavy makeup or waterproof makeup, might as well start with a cleansing balm or oil then use it after. If you do simple and light makeup this will definitely do it's job.... Read more

I have combination/ sensitive skin, and I find it too moisturising or I kinda feel like I did applied some face oil on my face after washing. And to be honest I'm not used to that feeling and I got bumps on my face on my 2nd day of using this one. Maybe it's my skin's reaction 2 bigger bumps are quite itchy but still I'm giving this product a chance to prove it's worth. I'm on my 2nd week of using this and I'm planning to use it till it hits bottom. Fingers crossed! šŸ¤ž... Read more

good review
I got so lucky to try @isntree_kr 's new facial cleanser, the Yam Root Vegan Milk Cleanser, formulated using plant-derived milk as the main ingredientšŸ˜šŸŒ± šŸ¤Ž Product Details • Brand Name: ISNTREE • Vol: 220ml • Scent: very mild to no scent • Texture: milky and A BIT 'slimy' • Packaging: comes in a white pump plastic bottle with a cute easy-peel label. I love they are developing packages that have a simple but cute design and are easier to recycle! • Vegan Milk Complex: coconut fruit extract, rice extract, oatmeal extract, soybean extract, sweet almond seed extract šŸ¤Ž My Thoughts This cleanser has Andong yam extract and a vegan milk complex, which is mild and gentle on my skin. The texture is rich, creamy/milky, and A BIT slimy while massaging onto my face. And I love that there's no noticeable smell. The high-level concentration of phytomucin drawn from yam helps strengthen the skin's natural barrier while keeping it moisturized. I've been using this for a while and loving it! I'm enjoying the milky and bit slimy texture because it feels nice while massaging it on my face. I have sensitive skin, so I am okay using this cleanser daily. It doesn't irritate while hydrating and soothes the skin as it lifts dirt, residual makeup, and sunscreen. One time, I tried using this cleanser to melt away my makeup, and I think it works great only on very light makeup, which is fine with me since I don't wear much makeup regularly, just sunscreen. So far, I'm satisfied with this cleanser as it is mild, leaving my skin soft and hydrated after cleansing. No residues or greasy feeling. šŸ˜ šŸ¤Ž Verdict: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 ... Read more

good review
šŸ’¬ Have you used a milk cleanser? What do you think of them? Personally I am a fan of them, specifically for my AM routine. This Yam Root Vegan Milk Cleanser leaves my skin feeling clean, but not stripped or dry, just soft and moisturized. You massage this onto dry skin, and add a little water, massaging a bit longer and then rinse with warm water. I would never know this wasn’t made with actual milk, if I didn’t see the label but It is in fact vegan 🌱 Yep!! The vegan milk complex is made with multiple extracts (Rice, coconut fruit, soybean, oatmeal, & sweet almond seed) Yet the texture, scent, feel all are the same as other milk cleansers I’ve used. Now why the yam root? Well because it’s amazing at forming a moisture barrier on your skin, helping to moisturize it, and the amino acids help sooth your skin without damaging the skin barrier. Isntree uses Adong yam root, which grows in sandy well drained soil allowing for a high content of phyto mucin which is what does all the good stuff. Key Ingredients & Claims ~ * Phyto Mucin complex from plant extracts * Hibiscus Esculentus Fruit (Okra) * Sacred lotus * Undaria pinnatifida (Kelp) * Dioscorea japonica (Yam) For Skin Types ~ Sensitive, but I think this would work well on any skin type honestly. Packaging ~ Made with recycled green tea paper & soy ink in a large 220 ml pump bottle Worth Noting ~ * Cruelty Free * Vegan * Fragrance Free * Pregnancy Friendly Retail Price ~ $22.50 ... Read more

good review
I received this product from Picky and Isntree in exchange for my honest review. This vegan and cruelty-free milk cleanser gently removes sunscreen and makeup while maintaining the skin’s hydration level. Yam Root extract is rich in amino acids that soothe skin and form a protective barrier to lock in moisture. Plant-based extracts including coconut fruit, rice, soybean, sweet almond seed and oatmeal nourish skin to reveal a healthy appearance āœØļø I had never used a milk cleanser before, so this was a new experience. You apply a moderate amount of the cleansing milk onto dry skin and massage it in for a while, then with wet hands you emulsify it like you would a cleansing oil or balm and wash it off. It is made as a single cleanser, being cleansing oil/balm and water-based cleanser in one. It has a white, milky texture and smells subtly like yam root. The bottle is also quite generous with 220ml. Though I love my double cleansing method, this is such a nice addition for days where my skin doesn't tolerate too much rubbing or products. It cleanses very well and my sensitive skin hasn't reacted to the cleansing milk negatively. I'd re-purchase this product!... Read more

good review
šŸŽ PR YesStyle Influencer gift (€ 26.25) šŸ„” Isntree - Yam Root Vegan Cleanser It is a white, fluid, slightly slimey cleansing milk in a 220 ml pump. I think it's a nice product for dry or mature skin, on which foaming cleansers usually make your skin feel tight. If you use a light sunscreen and light makeup, it could also be enough as the only cleanser in the evening. Vegan and cruelty free. šŸƒ Contains sunflower oil, yam extract (a kind of mucilaginous potato), okra (similar to beans, I ate them in the past, very yummy lol, it's mucilaginous too), lotus, wakame seaweed, laminaria japonica (another alga), soy, coconut, rice, almond and oats. Mucilaginous plants explain why it is a bit slimey, like snail mucin (but not that much). It has no added fragrances but there is a smell of plants, tubers, nature.. it is not bad but not very good either. šŸ’†šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø I didn't find it suitable for my oily combination skin type or the summer season. Used in the morning it cleanses well, but leaves the skin slightly more nourished than I would like, plus it takes a little longer to rinse than the cleansing mousses or gels I'm used to. In the evening, as his first oily cleaning, it managed to remove sunscreen, bbcream, eyeshadow, mascara, blush and lip tint. The only difficulty was with the lip tint (understandable) and it blurred my eyes a bit, which always happens to me. It needs more product compared to the morning of course, but the bottle is large, however it takes a while to rinse it out. If you have heavy makeup you need something stronger. šŸ¶ Small note on the new packaging: the label is easily removable, it is in the shape of a leaf (like the Isntree brand that has a leaf in the name), and contains a line with the words "opening date" so you can write the opening. There is no PAO so I think it's 12 months. The pump jumps up when you open it for the first time and to seal it you have to press down and rotate, so a little product drips, that's why I always leave it up. It is a bit see through against the light so you can see how full the bottle is. šŸ’²Isntree - Yam Root Vegan Milk Cleanser [220ml] will also be available with a 20% DISCOUNT starting May 10, 2022 until June 9, 2022!... Key ingredients: šŸ  Yam root extract - Phytomuscin keeps the skin smooth and forms a moisture barrier, amino acids soothe sensitive skin šŸššŸŒ¾ Rice extract - Moisturisation 🄄Coconut Extract - Skin soothing 🌰Sweet Almond Seed Extract - Prevents moisture loss Key features: šŸ’šVegan 🐰Cruelty free 🌸Sensitive skin friendly 🚫Fragrance free 🚫Alcohol free šŸ’Thoughts: Claims to cleanse ultra-fine dust, replenish moisture, build/strengthen moisture barrier and smoothen your skin without causing skin irritation. If you’ve ever cut or prepared a yam without gloves on, you’d be family with the stinging, itchy sensation it leaves behind but there is no irritation as I massage it onto my face and after washing it off, it leaves my skin looking clear, bright and smooth. Isntree’s demonstration of their product shows that it begins as a sticky cream that turns milk when water is added. My milk cleanser came out creamy and light with a faint earthy scent without the sticky strands but after giving it a good shake, it started pumping out the advertised texture which I love! Despite the way it looks, it's neither sticky nor slimy and applies smoothly. I’m a big fan of milk cleansers and they were my go-to first cleanser for many years but I recently switched to oil cleansers. This Isntree milk cleanser definitely tempted me back and now I’m back to using this every night! ... Read more

Their website says you can use just milk to remove foundation but I like using milk cleansers twice just to make sure all my foundation is off and my skin is properly cleansed. This was no different because even after the first round, there was still some foundation that got wiped off the second time. Always be sure to follow up with a foam cleanser after using a milk cleanser. Follow me @skincredibly.me on Instagram for more detailed reviews... Read more

good review
I received this product for free from @go.picky @pickyrewards and @isntree in exchange for my honest review. Having oily acne prone skin most of my life, I’ve always been using stripping/ harsh cleansers thinking they’re going to reduce my acne. Little did I ever imagine that I would one day love a moisturizing milky cleanser. From the first time that I used this Isntree Yam Root Vegan Milk Cleanser, I knew my life has changed šŸ˜† I loved it so much that I immediately replaced my cleanser in the bathroom with this! It’s such a dreamy texture I can’t explain. The soft milky texture almost seems like an ampoule or a lotion. It does not have any scent and it doesn’t even form any foam or lather. It’s really gentle on skin and eyes, removed most dirt, lightweight makeup and sunscreen without stripping skin of any oils. It leaves skin feeling soft and moisturized. I usually run to apply my toner and cream after cleansing because my skin starts drying and tightening soon after. But that’s not the case after using this..I can comfortably go through the entire day without using any extra moisturizer. That blew my mind! If I could suggest one cleanser for my dry / dehydrated / sensitive skin friends, it would be this! Milky cleansers are where it’s at. Trust me, you will love it šŸ’•... Read more

🌟 [Review: Isntree Summer Set — Yam Root Vegan Milk Cleanser] (2/3) I received this product for free from Picky and Isntree in exchange for my honest review. 🌟tl;dr: Will Repurchase Versatility of Cleanser is a Huge Plus, Gentle, Non-Stripping Cleanser 🌟 Price Point: ~SGD$20 for 220ml 🌟 Key Ingredients: Sunflower Seed Oil, Andong Yam Root Extract Fragrance, EO-Free 🌟 Texture: This cleanser is a milk-based cleanser, that has a certain level of stringiness to it — an interesting texture that I have never encountered before, as it is giving milk cleanser but with some elements of snail mucin (might be similar to how brands like vegreen are using yam as ā€œnature mucinā€ as a vegan alternative to snail mucin) 🌟 Thoughts: Ngl I was initially quite confused by the texture, and did not know exactly where this product could sit in my cleansing routine, as it felt a little too gentle to replace my foaming/gel cleansers. However, as I began to use this cleanser more often, I realised how this one became a really nice one in my cleansing arsenal. This one has sunflower seed oil in it, which explains why Isntree is marketing it as a viable first cleanser (similar to cleansing oils/balms), which I realised works rather nicely for removing SPF/excess sebum, while not overly stripping my skin! (gentler than oil cleansers imo) 🌟 Verdict: 5/5 I can definitely see myself repurchasing this one, as this one feels really gentle and perfect for when my skin feels sensitised and/or I want to go for a gentle cleanse in the morning <3 The key appeal of this product for me is its versatility — I can use it as a first cleanser in the PM as well as a gentle cleanse in the AM! ... One criticism I see quite often is that this one leaves a film, which I do kinda agree it does, but honestly I do not mind it at all, and I kinda do enjoy the stringiness that comes with this product! Overall, I would recommend this one for those looking for a gentle cleanser. The price point is reasonable and this one comes in a generous 220ml as well! #pickyreview #gopicky #isntreepicky @go.picky @pickyrewards @isntree ... Read more

good review
I received this product for free as a YesStyle Influencer in exchange for my honest review. I have not used a milk cleanser in a very long time but was interested in trying this one because of the yam root extract ingredient. I read something online about how wild yam extract is being explored as a phyto mucin. It is considered a plant-based alternative to snail mucin due to its similarity in texture as well as its skin care benefits. Claims: ā–ŖļøAndong Yam Root is rich in Amino Acid that provides a protective barrier to calm sensitive skin ā–ŖļøVegan Milk Complex comprised of Rice Extract (hydration), Coconut Water (soothing), Soybeans (skin conditioning), Oatmeal (skin rejuvenation), and Sweet Almond Oil (prevents moisture loss) ā–ŖļøGood for sensitive or dry skin, or for anyone wanting a gentle moisturizing cleanser Packaging and Texture: ā–Ŗļø220ml/7.45oz plastic bottle with pump ā–ŖļøWhite creamy milk consistency when dispensed, but has a sticky texture like snail mucin when applied to dry skin I’ve been using this cleanser for around 10 days both AM/PM. In the AM, I’m using as my only cleanser and PM as my 2nd cleanse (after removing makeup/sunscreen with an oil-based cleanser). I’m really liking it so far, as my skin leans dry. The texture is interesting as it appears to be a true milk cleanser, but it is stringy on dry hands like snail mucin. Suggested use is to apply to dry skin and gently massage to remove makeup and impurities, then apply water and continue to massage for about 1 minute, before rinsing with warm water. I found that when I applied it on dry skin, it absorbed into the skin like a moisturizer, so I changed how I used it. I apply 1 full pump of cleanser onto dry skin but add a small amount of water to emulsify, before massaging it into the skin, and then add more water, massaging for 1 minute, before washing off with warm water. It makes my skin feel soft and it feels clean after using, without stripping my skin. It is safe for eyes, although I use an eye and lip makeup remover to remove mascara. I haven’t used a cleansing milk recently because I never thought they cleaned thoroughly and often left a slight film on the skin. I work from home 3days a week, so I don’t wear makeup daily, but I do apply sunscreen every day. I find that it does a good job removing my sunscreen if I massage it into my skin for at least one minute and don’t feel like double cleansing. It is unscented, and I did not experience any irritation whatsoever. It really does a good job or retaining moisture into the skin, and I think it will be a great cleanser in the winter months when my skin gets super dry. I would recommend for sensitive or dry skin types due to the nourishing effects. It can be mixed with a clay mask to help tighten pores, but not sure if those with combination/oily skin will enjoy this cleanser.... Read more
