Stressful days routine

Hi there! Are you sure your skin turned dry and not dehydrated oily? I had the same experience with my oily skin turning dehydrated, it felt like a greasy parchment paper and I had skin peeling on my cheeks and jaw, it was the worst. If that's the case, I suggest you focus on restoring your skin barrier, and ceramides are the best for that. Also refrain from using any products that contain alcohol, scrubs, drying clay masks, etc. Surprisingly, if you spend your day in an AC room, it can be drying too! Focus on simplifying your skincare routine, using products with a suitable pH, and using a moisturizer that contains ceramides or a humectant like hyaluronic acid. I was recommended to use the ceramide emulsion below, and I loved it so much that I used up 5 bottles now. I also started using Hada Labo's moisturizing lotions and they're great, all of the 3 that I've tried.

it sounds like your skin barrier is compromised. I think you should consider reducing on actives on concentrate on repairing your skin barrier first. you can use centella or mugwort products to help calm the skin

make sure your face is wet before applying the hyaluronic acid! I have super dry and sensitive skin and these are a must in my routine. I love misting my face to bring back moisture, and do a sandwich method: wash, three ships mist, hyaluronic acid, mist again, and then apply the rest of my skincare.

hydrating routines are my thing 😅👋🏽! i also have oily (and combo) skin so hydration is a MUST. these are what I use for my ultimate hydration routine but I like to switch products in and out!
