Oily/Sensitive
I prefer sunscreens a lot more. They have the same functions but in different form. With sunscreens, you’re usually more protected from the sun compared to sunsticks. If you don’t have an issue with sunscreens, I’d recommend them over a Sunstick. Sunsticks are better for reapplication if you’re outdoors, and maybe if you have makeup on and you’d like to reapply. I wouldn’t use a sunstick as my main form of skin protectant. (Always use sunscreen under makeup instead)
Anyway here are some of my favourite sunscreens and sunsticks for oily + dehydrated skin :

A sunstick is a type of sunscreen. It’s you’re referring to the liquid one, the main difference between then is application. It might be harder to apply sunstick if you have make up on.

I use sunsticks only for reapplication, and sun creams or lotions I apply as my main sunscreen. I have dry skin so I prefer sun creams that are more moisturizing.

You will have to swipe a sunstick 20+ times for it to give you the same protection as a sunscreen does, so it's better to use the latter as a main source of protection and use a sunstick for reapplication

Sun sticks are for reapplication during the day but I honestly do not like them. you have to do so many swipes and most of them are very greasy and feel so heavy so I just try to carry wipes or find a sink to wash my hands and reapply regular sunscreen
